Rópaí was set up by Boundboar and I after reflecting on the lack of general visibility of male bondage in Dublin and a visibly low skills ceiling coupled with many wishes for something like a workshop to happen in Dublin. After many venue and insurance issues, we held the first Rópaí jam in my back garden, and it was a spectacular afternoon.
